After a picture appeared on the internet of a camouflaged Aventador with 19 and 20 inch rims from its Bugatti Veyron “brother”, rumors of a Lamborghini which will be modified to hit 400 km/h began to emerge.
The Sant’Agata Bolognese latest model which Lamborghini could modify to hit the 400 km/h “barrier” may also take down Veyron Super Sport’s top speed record.
However, in order to get to the 400 km/h top speed, or beyond it, the tuned version of the Aventador will have to suffer some aerodynamic and transmission modifications.
The Aventador LP700-4 is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine, which is developin 690 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, connected to the new ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) seven-speed transmission.
Performance is staggering and the supercar can hit 60 mph from stand still in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
