New leaked drawings of the 2014 Corvette C7 reveal rear end, interior and engine bay

It sure feels like we’re getting closer and closer to full disclosure of the new Corvette C7, as more images of the iconic sports car have surfaced this week.

These latest pics have appeared on Corvette Forum and depict the C7 Corvette’s rear end, engine bay and interior. The images were posted to Corvette Forum by a user who claims he has received information in the past several months by many people. However, he refused to answer questions about the sources of these images.

The drawings appear to fit with what we have seen so far of the C7 Corvette. The exterior renderings show a much sharper Corvette than the current model. In contrast with the C6′s rounded edges and more organic shapes, the C7 will switch to a sharper and futuristic design language.

Judging from the leaked interior images, GM has done some extensive work changing the dashboard. The new center console features a large display screen, while the steering wheel has a new design. Improved sport seats can also be spotted in two of the photos, while the gauge cluster seems to be made of LCD screens.

One photo reveals details about a new „Track Overlay” feature, which seems to be keeping track of several vehicle parameters such as lap times, track location, steering angle and G-forces. The new model will be premiered at the Detroit Auto Show next month.
