Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has recently announced that the new LS model has been launched in Malaysia in four versions.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the new Lexus LS is now available in Malaysia as the LS 460, as the LS 460 F Sport, the LS 460L long wheelbase and the top of the line LS 600h L. The base version of the new Lexus LS, the LS 460, can be bought locally from RM788,000, the LS 460 F Sport costs RM818,000, the LS 460L starts at RM878,000 and the most expensive LS 600h L costs RM1,068,000. All prices are on the road without insurance.
Lexus says that the 460 versions carry over the 4.6 liter V8 engine with its 380 HP and 493 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Drive Mode Select will allow drivers to choose from the Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport and Sport+ modes. The LS 600h L is getting the 5.0L V8 unit under its hood, helped by two electric motors to produce 438 HP, mated to a CVT transmission which is sending power to the permanent all-wheel drive. Unique features on the model include the LED headlamps, the 19-inch wheels, the Eco Drive Meter and more.
