The Japanese based automaker Lexus has recently announced that the new RX 450h will be officially presented to the public on the 6th of March, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Besides the new RX 450h which will make its debut in Geneva on the 6th of March, the Toyota luxury brand is also planning to reveal the RX 450h F Sport version, but details on the two models are limited. As you can see from the official image released by Lexus, there are some significant changes to the front fascia, with a redesigned front grille, redesigned headlights with LED daytime running lights into the bumper and some other modifications to the body. The sport version is expected to come with a new body kit, metal finishes in the cabin and new alloy wheels.
One of the most important changes on the new Lexus RX 450h will definitely be the hybrid propulsion system, which should generate 299 horsepower, being joined later by a 3.5 liter V6 unit, in the Lexus RX 350, which will develop a total output of 277 horsepower. Besides the RX 450h and its sister car, Lexus will also present the LF-LC prototype at the Geneva Motor Show. More details on the new RX 450h will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
