The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class will hit the European showrooms in September, as the German based automaker has recently announced.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be priced from just under 24, 000 euros and the model is expected to be a huge hit for the brand, considering the fact that the B-Class did well. Mercedes-Benz says that the new generation of the A-Class will be built in Germany and Hungary and its engine lineup will include units ranging from 109 HP to 211 HP.
“The new A-Class is the heartbeat of the new generation at Mercedes-Benz. “We have taken the opportunity to design a completely new vehicle which sets standards in its segment. I am convinced that the new A-Class will make a significant contribution to our Mercedes-Benz 2020 growth strategy”, said the company’s member of the Board of Management, Joachim Schmidt.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be equipped with features such as the Collision Prevention Assist, Brake Assist, Pre-Safe system, Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control, nine airbags and more, as an option, while the standard vehicle will come with a driver knee airbag, driver and front passenger airbags, thorax/pelvis airbags incorporated in the seat and many more.
