The new generation of the powerful Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will make its way onto the market in early 2015, as one of the company’s officials have recently announced.
The German based automaker is planning to introduce the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG in early 2015. The announcement has been made by the AMG product chief, Tobias Moers. According to our source, the carmaker will offer the powerful C63 AMG with a V8 engine under its hood, and this may be a decisive step when it comes to ordering a car in this segment, considering the fact that BMW is offering a 6-cylinder unit on the new M3 generation.
The upcoming Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will take its power from a 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo gasoline engine and this is said to come to life after the carmaker will join two of the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo engines together. These are being used on the A45 AMG, on the CLA45 AMG and on the GLA45 AMG, in which the total output stands at 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque. The new C63 AMG is said to gain more than 500 HP (368 kW) with the optional performance package.
