Mercedes Benz has just unveiled the new 2012 ML 63 AMG. Upgraded with the usual improvements to justify the R&D money, the new 2012 ML 63 AMG comes with better fuel economy, 15 more hp, and 44 more lb-ft of torque.
In addition, an AMG package will add red painted calipers, carbon fiber engine cover premium leather, an AMG Performance steering wheel and raises the top speed from 155-mph to 174 mph.
As expected Mercedes has dropped the old 6.3 liter engine and adopted the new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that is rated (in North American specification) at 518-horsepower and 516 lb-ft (700Nm), representing an increase of 15HP and 44 lb-ft over its predecessor.
The new ML goes on sale in February. [more about the new 2012 Mercedes ML 63 AMG]
