The British based automaker MINI has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Cooper generation by the end of this year, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After it was spied and teased numerous times, the new generation of the MINI Cooper is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its public debut during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, later on this year, in November.
“We’ll see the new one at the LA motor show in November, with launch in first quarter of next year”, said the MINI Australia product planning manager, Sue McCarthy.
The new generation of the MINI Cooper will get some interesting updates, like the longer hood, the huge headlight units, the smaller front grille, the slimmer A-pillars and some other tweaks, which should make it instantly recognizable. Changes won’t stop here as the 2014 MINI Cooper will also get a redesigned traditional instrument cluster instead of the center-mounted speedometer, along with several other modifications. Additional details on the new MINI Cooper generation are limited for the moment and will be announced once the model will be officially unveiled in L.A.
