The British based automaker Morgan has made an important step in reviving its Plus 8 model, by announcing that its new generation will be officially unveiled at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, but don’t think that it will be cheap.
According to Morgan, the new generation of the Plus 8 will be available with standard air conditioning and its future customers will be able to choose between eight exterior finishes. But all of this doesn’t come cheap and in fact the British automaker says that the new Morgan Plus 8 has been priced at 71.000 GBP, which means 81.360 EUR or 112.165 USD.
Sadly there’s no word on the engine, performance and all the other interesting figures but these details are expected to come to light in March 2012, when the new Morgan Plus 8 will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
The original Morgan Plus 8 has been made between 1968 and 2004, being powered by a 3.5 liter, a 3.9 liter or a 4.6 liter V8 engine, mated to either a four-speed manual transmission, between 1968 and 1977, and to a five-speed manual transmission between 1977 and 2004.
