The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently announced the introduction of the new Sylphy to the local auto market.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Nissan Sylphy, which has went on sale in Japan today (December 5, 2012), it will also be launched in another 120 countries, including China, the United States of Thailand. The new Nissan Sylphy has a new body shape which offers a lower air resistance, an optimized under floor airflow and thanks to these improvements, along with several other tweaks, the model is now 16 percent more fuel efficient compared to the previous version.
The new Nissan Sylphy is 15 mm lower in height and 65 mm narrower in width when compared to the previous generation of the model and it gets an optimized interior layout which allows more leg room for the rear passengers. The new Nissan Sylphy is promising vibration reduction, an improved ride comfort and a strengthened body. Power to the model is being provided by a 1.8 liter MRA8DE engine in Japan, but in other markets, different engines are expected to be used.
