The brand new Nissan Terrano has been recently spotted on the road, wrapped in camouflage, while it was being tested.
Nissan has already announced its plans to offer its own version of the Dacia Duster, or the Renault Duster as it is known in some markets, and the carmaker even released some official sketches with the model, saying that the low-cost SUV will be officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, on the 20th of August. But until its official presentation, Nissan is currently making sure that everything is in its place and working just like it should.
The brand new Nissan Terrano will have nothing in common with the “classic” nameplate and it will be the company’s own version of the Duster. The model will get some new headlights and taillights, modified body panels and different front and rear bumpers. The “new” design is expected to be carried over in the cabin too, where the Terrano should get a Nissan “touch”. Regarding on the multi-function display, it is unknown yet whether the carmaker will use Renault’s new MediaNav system or the one found on the Qashqai, and not only. More details on the new Nissan Terrano are limited for the moment and will be announced on August 20.
