The German based automaker Porsche has recently announced the launch of the new 911 Carrera 4S generation in Malaysia, where the model can be bought from RM970,000.
After it was officially unveiled back in mid-2012 on the Old Continent, the new generation of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its arrival in Malaysia. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S can be yours in the Asian country starting at RM970,000, taxes included, but without the road tax, registration fee and insurance.
Power to the model is being provided by the same engine as its two-door brother, the Carrera S, the 3.8 liter boxer engine, which is producing a total output of 400 HP at 7,400 rpm and it has a peak torque of 440 Nm available at 5,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 297 km/h. Fuel consumption stands at 9.1 L / 100 km. In Malaysia, the Carrera 4S has been brought with a seven-speed manual transmission, so the 0 to 100 km/h sprint stands at 4.5 seconds, top speed at 299 km/h and fuel consumption at 9.9 L / 100 km.
