New Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabrio gets updated by Gemballa image

The German aftermarket specialists at Gemballa have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the new generation of the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet.

According to the tuner, the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabrio is getting an aerodynamic package, made out of a redesigned front bumper, with three large cooling air intakes, lip spoilers for more stability downforce at high speeds, modified side skirts, redesigned rear bumper, a rear diffuser and distinctive triple outlet pips of the Gemballa stainless steel exhaust system, inspired by the Gembala Avalanche in the 1980s. The tuning company says the aerodynamic kit is already available for its future customers in Germany for 19,860 euros, with paintwork and installation included.

A fresh set of so-called GForged-one alloy wheels with a choice of “diamond cut” or “gunmetal” finishes, 21 inches in diameter, are also available for the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabrio, which weigh less than the standard 20-inch rims. Prices for the new wheels start at 9,896 euros, VAT included, in Germany, and can even go up, depending on what tires are chosen. Gemballa has also modified the braking system of the 911 Carrera S Cabrio and the 3.8 liter engine from the German supercar is producing 400 HP at 7,400 rpm and 440 Nm of torque at 5,600 rpm. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds (4.5 s with PDK) and it has a top speed of 301 km/h (299 km/h with PDK).
