The brand new Porsche 911 Targa has been recently spotted in the metal, on the streets, where it managed to attract quite a lot of curious eyes.
After making its public debut last week, during the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit, the new Porsche 911 Targa is ending up in our news once again, this time with some real-life photos. The images posted below have been captured by an Autogespot member a couple of days ago and they are showing the sports car cruising the streets. The model in question is the 911 Targa 4, which is the tamed beast.
Porsche will be offering the new 911 Targa in two versions, the 911 Targa 4 and the 911 Targa 4S. The cheapest one will be the 911 Targa 4, which is coming with a 3.4 liter six-cylinder petrol engine, producing a total output of 350 HP (261 kW). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes 4.6 seconds in this model and top speed stands at 280 km/h (174 mph). The 911 Targa 4S has a larger 3.8 liter six-cylinder unit, with 400 HP (298 kW). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration is made in 4.2 seconds and top speed is 293 km/h (182 mph).
