Porsche has unveiled the brand new 911 Turbo Cabrio and the Turbo S Cabrio ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, in November.
The new generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabrio is finally here and enthusiasts with enough money in their bank accounts will have to wait just a little more before getting their hands on the powerful drop-top. According to the car manufacturer, the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio is delivering the same power level as the Coupe, 513 HP, with a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in just 3.5 seconds.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabrio is good for 552 HP and it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed identical to its slower brother, 318 km/h (199 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 9.9L / 100 km (28.5 mpg UK / 23.7 mpg US), meaning a 15 percent improvement compared to its predecessor. Prices for the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio will start at 174,431 EUR while the Turbo S Cabrio will set you back for 207,989 EUR. As you were probably expecting, the cost of the two sports cars in the United States is more reasonable, at 160,700 USD and 193,900 USD respectively.
