Porsche has recently announced its plans to introduce the new generation of the Cayman and the 2014 Cayenne Turbo S during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
According to the German based automaker, the 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will be launched in the United States soon and future owners of the powerful luxury SUV will be able to take it home starting from 146,000 USD, without the 975 USD destination charge. The model is coming with a 4.8 liter engine under its hood, with an increased turbocharger pressure, with remapped electronics and with more tweaks. The total output produced now stands at 550 HP (410 kW) and 553 lb-ft of torque (749 Nm), 50 HP (37 kW) and 37 lb-ft (50 Nm) more than the Cayenne Turbo.
Besides the 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the car manufacturer will also bring the new generation of the Cayman to the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model will be launched after the automotive event and it will be priced from 52,600 USD, while the Cayman S will start at 63,800 USD. The 2.7 liter flat six with 275 HP (202 kW) can be found under the hood of the Cayman, while the Cayman S is using the 3.4 liter flat six engine with its 325 HP (239 kW).
