The German based automaker Porsche is planning to unveil the 2014 Cayman during this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, on the 28th of November.
The future generation of the Porsche Cayman has already been spied several times but because of the heavy camouflage fitted to its body, its lines are unclear and the model might adopt just about any design. But the company’s fans and fans of the Cayman particularly will have to wait two more weeks until they will be able to see the 2014 Porsche Cayman, because the car manufacturer is planning to introduce the model to the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Rumors are saying that the 2013 Porsche Cayman will get a similar design to the 2013 Porsche Boxster and this won’t be the only thing shared by the two models because the engine lineup is also expected to be borrowed from the new Boxster. If this will happen, than the 2013 Porsche Cayman will get a 2.7 liter unit with 261 HP (195 kW) under its hood, along with the more powerful 3.4 liter engine from the S version, which is producing a total output of 311 HP (232 kW). More details on the 2014 Porsche Cayman will be announced during the North American automotive event this month.
