Renault has recently announced the full specs of the UK Clio 200 Turbo, ahead of its launch scheduled for April.
After it was officially presented a few months ago, in a premiere, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the new generation of the Renault Clio RS is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing details on the version which will be launched in the UK in a couple of months. The model is coming with the R-Link system, with an on-board telemetry system with customizable display of the engine parameters, with a GPS activated stopwatch for lap times and performance data, amongst others.
The new French hot hatch also has Renaultsport seats, Bluetooth, the RS Sound pipe, which is transmitting the engine sound to the cabin and much more. Power to the new-gen Renault Clio RS is being provided by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 197 BHP and it has a peak torque of 240 Nm. This is enough to allow the hot hatch to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 143 mph. The new Clio RS will arrive in the UK in April and it will be more expensive than its competition.
