A new rendering is showing us what the next generation of the Renault Megane RS may look like.
If you are a Renault fan than you definitely know that the French based automaker has officially pulled the wraps off the new generation of the Megane a few days ago, following some leaked images. But this article isn’t about the regular version of the compact vehicle and it is taking aim towards the next range-topping variant, the one signed by Renaultsport. The image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering at this point but we are expecting some similar modifications for the final production model.
The Renaultsport Megane is now looking more aggressive than the standard one and it has received the new front bumper with a grey spoiler, more pronounced door sills, a larger roof spoiler, gloss black side mirror caps and fender vent trim, tinted windows, a black finished roof and larger five double-spoke silver wheels, covering the red brake calipers. The model seen here is in its five-door hatchback body style and it is not known at the moment whether the company will also introduce it in a 3-door variant as well, but hopefully it will. We are not sure at this point exactly what the new Renault Megane RS will be using under its hood, but chances are we will find the 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, which will be upgraded to approximately 300 HP. Additional details on the next French compact hot hatch are limited at this time.
