New Renault RS Trophy announced for Geneva image

Renault has released a first teaser with an upcoming RS Trophy model, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next Tuesday.

After officially pulling the wraps off the brand new Kadjar, the company’s first compact crossover, just a few weeks back, Renault is now planning the introduction of yet another RS Trophy model. This has been announced for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with the help of the image posted above and even if we cannot be sure exactly what it will be, chances are this will turn out as the smaller brother of the Megane RS Trophy, the Clio RS Trophy.

The photo is showing us a two-tone wheel with the RS logo in the middle and it should probably remain the only one available until the model will be officially unveiled, next week. The brand new Renault Clio RS Trophy is expected to get some tweaks made to the chassis, a more aggressive body kit which will put some space between it and the already available Clio RS along with a new set of wheels and probably a larger rear wing. As far as the engine goes, chances are the 1.6 liter DIG Turbo will be updated and it will be producing more than 200 HP (150 kW) and 240 Nm (180 lb-ft). More details on the new Renault Clio RS Trophy are limited at this time and will be announced at the Swiss automotive event, in a few days.
