Scion has released a first teaser image with an upcoming concept car, which is believed to offer a preview of a future production model which might actually be a crossover.
Did you ever wonder what a Scion crossover might look like? Well, it’s not that hard, considering that you have Toyota to draw inspiration from, but what would some like that be indeed? Rumors are stating that the brand new concept, pictured below, might offer us a preview into a first crossover, which will debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, next month.
“Following the recent introduction of the Scion iM 5-door hatchback and the sporty Scion iA sedan, the youth division of Toyota is preparing to further expand its lineup with a third all-new vehicle, beginning in 2017. The world debut of the next Scion concept will take place at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nov. 18-19, 2015”, was the only thing Scion had to say about its new model.
The image posted above is showing part of the rear end of the one-off vehicle, with the rear privacy glass, part of the tailgate, what seems to be a roof mounted spoiler and, obviously the Scion badge. If this will be based on the iM or on the iA, it remains to be seen but we actually have no clue at the moment what this is, so we will have to wait for the 2015th edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show to open its gates, next month, in order to find out.
