The Spanish based automaker has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Ibiza Cupra, which is coming with some interesting changes on the Old Continent.
If you live in Europe and you’re into B-segment hot hatches, than this is what you’ve probably been looking for if you don’t like the Opel Corsa OPC, the VW Polo GTI or the Skoda Fabia RS and you don’t want to wait until the new-gen Renault Clio RS will hit the market, than you definitely want the new Seat Ibiza Cupra, which is bringing a fresh touch into the segment with its revised form.
The car manufacturer says that the new Seat Ibiza Cupra is now getting LED daytime running lights, more aggressive bumpers, a central hexagonal exhaust system, a new portable audio system with satellite navigation and Bluetooth, a sportier steering wheel, sportier seats and more. Under the hood, the Seat Ibiza Cupra is getting the same 1.4 liter TSI turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 178 horsepower, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. This is enough to allow the hot hatch to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 6.9 seconds.
