The very first images with the brand new 2014 Seat Leon ST have recently hit the web, revealing the model ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After the all-new five-door hatchback Seat Leon has been unveiled just last year, along with the sleeker three-door version, the third body style of the popular C-segment vehicle is being placed into the spotlights for the first time, with the help of some images, which are revealing the model in a premiere. The 2014 Seat Leon ST will receive a cargo capacity of 587 liters with the seats up, which stands at less than what the new VW Golf 7 Variant is offering, 605 liters, even if the same platform has been used.
The new Seat Leon ST has received roof rails, larger and rounder taillights and new alloy wheels. Rumors are saying that the VW Group has used the same recipe on the new Skoda Octavia Combi and on the new VW Golf 7 Variant. As for the engine lineup, this will include the 1.2 liter with 86 HP (62 kW), the 1.8 liter with its 180 HP (132 kW), the 1.6L TDI producing 90 HP (66 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW), and the 2.0 TDI with 150 HP (110 kW) or 184 HP (135 kW). Some versions of the model will also receive the 4MOTION AWD system from the Golf 7 and it will also be offered in right-hand drive.
