The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released a teaser image with a new Rapid model, which has a good chance of being a high performance version of the vehicle.
Skoda is currently working on the Rapid and constantly improving it and, besides the upgrades added onto the 2014 model year version, or the Spaceback variant, which is constantly being spied on the road, the carmaker is also planning to introduce a new high performance model, which might be named the RS, or the vRS, like the Fabia and the Octavia. Such a model might have been teased in the photo posted above.
The model in question seems to have drawn inspiration from the Skoda Rapid Sport Concept, which was officially presented to the public just a few months ago, during the 2013 Worthersee. The concept car had a sloping roof line, a two-ton paint job, an aggressive body kit, a dual exhaust system, 19-inch alloy wheels finished in red and much more. Additional details on this Skoda Rapid version teased above are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following months.
