The North American based automotive giant Chrysler Group LLC has recently announced a new optional Track Pack for the 2013 Viper and 2013 Viper GTS.
After the new generation of the SRT Viper has been officially unveiled last year, and with the model already available for order in a lot of dealerships across the United States, the sports car is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing a Track Pack. According to the car manufacturer, the new Track Pack is available for both the 2013 Viper and for the more expensive Viper GTS.
“A customer’s perception of the brake system depends very much on the way the driver uses the car. The faster you go, the greater the advantage”, said the SRT Viper’s chief engineer Graham Henckel.
The new Track Pack for the Viper will add an upgraded brake cooling ductwork, new Brembo braking kit, new wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, a four-mode traction / stability control system and some other interesting tweaks. The Track Pack Viper GTS will weigh 28.1 kg (62 lbs) less than the standard version. Additional details on the package are limited for the moment and will be announced soon.
