New VW Golf GTI gets upgraded by Oettinger image

The aftermarket specialists at Oettinger have recently previewed their latest creation, a new tuning program for the 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI, which will add some interesting items to the hot hatch.

Tuners like ABT Sportsline or HG Motorsport have already unveiled their aftermarket upgrades for the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI not too long ago and now, time has come for another tuning house, named Oettinger, to start working on modifying the popular C-segment hot hatch. The model in question will receive some interesting items to its exterior design, to the cabin and an engine upgrade, which should make its more interesting into the eyes of its owners.

Oettinger has equipped the new Volkswagen Golf GTI with an aerodynamic body kit, which also includes a front splitter and a front spoiler, revised side skirts, a tailgate mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser and some other tweaks. This will set you back for 1,990 euros and it will become available in August. A large intercooler, a new air intake, a sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU. These changes will help the 2.0 liter engine produce 350 HP (257 kW). Other modifications will include the high performance brakes, limited slip differential and adjustable sports suspension.
