After starting its life as a minor announcement with its debut to be made at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the 2013 Honda Crosstour Concept is finally here and the Japanese based automaker Honda has officially presented it during the over-seas automotive event. According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Honda Crosstour is actually a preview to the next generation of the model, which might hit the market in a similar style, with the massive grille, plastic body cladding, sporty front bumper, revised tailgate and 19-inch alloy wheels.
“Fueled by a combination of versatility, luxury and efficiency, owners have demonstrated remarkable devotion to the Honda Crosstour. The 2013 Crosstour Concept shows how Honda will strengthen the styling and add even more content to one of the most efficient offerings in the class”, said the executive VP of sales for American Honda, John Mendel.
The production version of the new Honda Crosstour will be offered with two different engines, a 2.4 liter four-cylinder unit, which will generate 192 horsepower, and a more powerful 3.5 liter V6. Besides these, the future Honda Crosstour will also come with features like the Lane Watch blind spot monitoring system, Forward Collision Warning system and a Lane Departure Warning system, amongst many others.
