The all-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL has been officially presented to the public at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

After leaking over the internet just a few days before writing this article, the all-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL is once again placed into the spotlights, this time by the car manufacturer, who revealed the model during the 2012 New York Auto Show. According to the German based automaker, the 2013 GL is coming with standard features like the Collision Prevention Assist, Electromechanical steering, Central COMAND controller, Attention Assist and a color instrument cluster display, but as an option, the Multi-color Ambient Lighting, Panoramic roof, Power Easy-Entry, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Driver Assistance Package, Surround view camera, off-road package, Active Curve System, parktronic and multi-color ambient lighting can also be ordered.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL will be available in three versions, the GL350 BlueTEC, the GL450 and the GL550, where the entry-level 350 BlueTEC will come with 240 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, compared to the previous 210 HP and 400 lb-ft, the 450 will come with 362 horsepower and 406 lb-ft compared to the previous 335 HP and 339 lb-ft, and the top of the line GL550 is developing 420 horsepower and 516 lb-ft compared to the previously 382 HP and 391 lb-ft. the all-new GL-Class will go on sale in the Unites States in September this year and in the United Kingdom in early 2013.
