Acura has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 MDX, in its final production version, during the 2013 in a premiere.
Following the leaked image from yesterday, Acura has unveiled the brand new 2014 MDX, in its final production version. The model is coming with the “Executive Aero Sculpture” design, with the sloping roofline, angular front fascia, curved rear hatch, new LED headlights, tailgate mounted spoiler, chrome accents and more. The cabin of the model has received metallic and wood trim, leather seats, two digital displays, climate-controlled seats, rear-seat entertainment system, upgraded audio system, automatically folding and sliding forward second-row seats and more.
The 2014 Acura MDX is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 290 BHP (216 kW) and it has a peak torque of 362 Nm (267 lb-ft), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Power can be sent to the optional SH-AWD system (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive). Fuel efficiency in the 2014 Acura MDX stands at 18/27/21 in city/highway/combined with AWD and with FWD at 20/28/23 mpg. The model will go on sale this summer.
