The German based automaker Dodge has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Durango, during the New York Auto Show, in a world premiere.
The 2014 Dodge Durango is actually a facelifted version of the popular model, which is coming with some interesting updates to the front fascia and rear end. From these updates, we can mention the LED headlights, the LED taillights, the redesigned front and rear bumpers and some other tweaks, which should make the model even more appealing to its future customers. The cabin of the “new” Durango has gained a more generous display for the infotainment, a three-spoke steering wheel, a new digital instrument cluster and a round transmission knob, amongst others.
The updated 2014 Dodge Durango will get an eight-speed automatic transmission on all engine options, like the one offered on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2014 Jeep Cherokee. As for the engine lineup, the model will probably get, and we say “probably” because the automaker didn’t announce these details just yet, the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6, with 290 BHP (216 kW) and 352 Nm of torque, or the 5.7 liter HEMI V8, with 360 BHP (268 lb-ft) and 528 Nm of torque. AWD is optional.
