SRT has recently unveiled the 2014 Viper TA during the 2013 New York Auto Show, in a world premiere.
After it was shown for the first time in some official images, just a few days ago, the 2014 SRT Viper TA is ending up in our news once again, this time with the North American based automaker bringing it to the 2013 New York Auto Show. The new SRT Viper TA is a direct rival for the Corvette ZR1 and it’s a track focused sports car which was developed in collaboration with professional road racers. The model is getting the TA Orange exterior finish with a carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler, black Stryker logos and new wheels.
The cabin is getting orange accent stitching on the seats, on the center console, on the steering wheel and on the instrument panel. The 2014 SRT Viper has new Brembo braking system, Bilstein suspension and some other tweaks. Power to the model is provided by an 8.4 liter V10 engine, which is developing a total output of 640 BHP (477 kW), with a peak torque of 814 Nm (600 lb-ft). No performance details have been announced on the TA Viper just yet.
