New York Auto Show: 2017 Chrysler 300S image

Chrysler has decided to entice customers that will select the 2017 Chrysler 300S with new exterior and interior appearance packages, but it also boasts a fresh Ceramic Gray hue.

Offered as an optional extra on the V6 but features as standard on the V8, the Exterior Sport Appearance Package comes with a modified front end with larger air intakes and integrated LED fog lights with an eight-point horizontal strip. The headlights also come with a glossy black treatment and the increasingly sculpted side sills have new 20-inch wheels (19-inch for AWD model) to show off. The exterior changes are being rounded up by the dual exhaust tips, sportier rear deck lid spoiler, and the beefed up color palette that has added the industrial-look Ceramic Gray. The inside also gets tweaks courtesy of the Interior Sport Appearance Package which comes with more contoured front heated and ventilated seats with added lateral support. The new Light Gray Diesel stitching adorns the door and center console armrests, as well as the seats, steering wheel, and instrument cluster.

The pricing issue has not been addressed yet but we already know that both the Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages will become available for order after August. The 300S packs the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 300 hp or the optional 5.7-liter HEMI V8 delivering 363 hp. A rear wheel drive layout is offered as standard on both engine versions but the smaller V6 can also be paired with an all wheel drive system.
