The Infiniti QX60 Hybrid has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show, in a premiere.
After being announced for the 2013 New York Auto Show, the brand new Infiniti QX60 Hybrid is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker finally pulling the wraps off its body. The model in question isn’t getting any compromises and, despite the addition of the hybrid technology, Infiniti says that the cargo capacity hasn’t been affected, because the lithium-ion battery has been located under the third row of seats.
The 2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid is powered by a 2.5 liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, helped by an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack, producing a combined output of 250 HP (186 kW) and 329 Nm of torque (243 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the wheels through a CVT. Fuel consumption stands at 26 mpg (US). The model will go on sale this summer and pricing will be set at approximately 3,000 USD more than the standard version. Additional details on the Infiniti QX60 Hybrid remain unknown for the moment and will be announced close to its launch.
