Land Rover today reveals the new Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Special Edition at the New York Motor Show, which will be available in limited numbers worldwide from this summer.
The interior receives upgraded and expanded leather coverage in an all-new Arabica color, including leather trim on the door tops, door pulls, armrests and dashboard fascia. An exclusive perforated leather heated steering wheel is included.
The standard kit list includes a premium 825W Harman Kardon Logic7 stereo, digital TV with 8in screens in the back of the seats and a coolbox in the center console.
John Edwards, Land Rover’s global brand director, described the Luxury edition as “probably the most luxurious specification yet offered on the Discovery 4”.
The Discovery 4 Limited Edition presented at New York is powered by the 252bhp SDV6 diesel engine, which covers 0-60mph times in 8.8sec and has a top speed of 112mph when mated to the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicle will go on sale in the UK from July 2012 with prices starting at £56,995 on the road.
