This year at the Paris Motor Show, Nissan is showcasing the all-new 2014 Nissan NV200 – the New York City Taxi of tomorrow.
Yes because the new NV200 New York City taxi (it actually has been introduced 40 countries, selling over 120,000 units worldwide) is set to appear on the streets of “The Big New York” at the end of 2013.
Powered by a 2.0-liter I-4 gasoline engine, the NV200 New York City taxi is loaded with features like a transparent roof panel, independently controlled rear air conditioning, 12-volt electrical outlets, two USB ports, six-way adjustable seats and rear seat curtain airbags.
Having won the right to be named New York’s ‘Taxi of the future’, Nissan will build its 2014 NV200 Taxi in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Base price, with all planned standard features, will be approximately $29,700.
