Several renderings with the next generation of the Audi A4 have hit the web and they are showing perhaps the most accurate design of the upcoming midsized sedan.
BMW and Mercedes-Benz may have stepped forward in the D-segment by introducing new generations of the 3-Series and C-Class but Audi is coming in pretty fast with a future A4 generation. The model in question is still a few months away from being officially unveiled but now, for the first time ever, we can see how it may look like. The images posted below are nothing more than simple renderings put together by Quattroroute magazine and they are the most accurate yet.
We can see an evolutionary exterior design with the aggressive headlights and the integrated LED daytime running lights and turning signals. The interior design of the range-topping version has been also rendered and it looks like it will be coming with a digital instrument cluster with navigation system and the tablet-style center display. The engine lineup of the future Audi A4 generation is expected to include petrol, diesel and hybrid units and they should be producing between 120 HP (88 kW) and 326 HP (240 kW). Additional details on the 2016 Audi A4 are limited for the moment and they will be announced during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be opening its gates in September and host the official unveil for the vehicle.
