The future generation of the Audi A4 has been recently rendered and even if it has a futuristic design, this may still be offering a preview of the upcoming vehicle.
The Audi A4’s new generation is expected to be officially unveiled in late 2014 or even in 2015 and the model will be taking on its “classic” rivals, the BMW 3-Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Both “opponents” have already developed new versions of these cars and so Audi has an ace up its sleeve in order to make it better compared to the competition. The images posted below represent renderings of the new Audi A4 generation and they have been based on the Audi Sport Quattro Concept.
When it will eventually be unveiled, the new generation of the Audi A4 will have received a completely new design, a different cabin, new technologies and a range of new fuel-efficient engine range under its hood. The Audi A4 Sedan has been in production since 1994 and the outgoing version of the model has been assembled since 2008. The model is produced in Germany, India and China and it has a choice of five petrol and three diesel engines, which can be mated to five transmissions, manual, automatic and double clutch.
