A test mule of the next generation of the Audi RS3 has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers in Germany, outside the Nurburgring.
The very first images with the new generation of the Audi RS3 have been taken right outside the Nurburgring, where the model in question was being tested by the German based automaker. The new Audi RS3 will continue to be a serious competitor to the BMW M135i and because of this, the premium hot hatch is expected to be shown much earlier than originally intended, probably in the first months of 2014.
The 2015 Audi RS3 is rumored to get the same 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine under its hood, as the current model, but in order to be even more competitive, the unit will be tuned a bit more than the current 340 HP. As the test mule pictured below was seen right outside the famous German track, the Nurburgring, we expect the next few days to bring us a video of the model in action on the Nordschleife. Additional details on the new Audi RS3 are limited for the moment and will probably be announced at the beginning of next year.
