The new generation of the Chevrolet Spark has been recently rendered as it has been based on the Opel Karl.
After it has been officially unveiled just a week ago, the Opel Karl is entering our news once again, as the model will be giving birth to a new generation of the Chevrolet Spark. The two vehicles will be sharing the same platform and even the same engine lineup, as the only differences will be in the front fascia, where the Chevrolet grille will be added, along with a modified bumper and new headlights, and in the rear end, where some tweaks will be made too.
The cabin of the next Chevrolet Spark generation is expected to be slightly different than the one of the current Opel Karl but the overall technologies used will be similar. The new German city car is 3,700 mm long, 300 mm shorter than the Corsa. The model is offering seat for five passengers and it is coming with features such as the sunroof, park assist, lane departure warning, heated seats and steering wheel and so on. The 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol burner will be found under its hood, with 75 HP (55 kW), connected to the 5-speed manual transmission.
