A new report highlighting the new Ferrari 458 Italia is suggesting that the impressive right might sport an entry-level version, with a V6 engine under its hood.
Rumors on an entry-level version of the Ferrari 458 have been around for quite some time now and it only seems that this will become a reality, considering the fact that more and more reports are indicating this. According to the guys from Car Magazine, the new entry-level model will be offered next to the future generation of the 458 Italia and this basically means that it will be wearing a different name.
The model in question will have nothing in common with the current 458 facelift, which is being spied these days while being tested out outside the Maranello headquarters, and it should pack a 2.9 liter V6 engine, producing a total output of approximately 500 HP (372 kW) and 609 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. In terms of design, the new generation of the 458 will be more aggressive and there will be some design tweaks offered to both the fully loaded model and the entry-level one, which should put some visual distance between them.
