The new generation of the Ferrari California is believed to make its public debut next year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
The Italian based automaker Ferrari is currently working on an updated version of the California, which will serve as a new generation, and the model in question is said to be officially unveiled next year, in March, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. An official announcement hasn’t been made just yet, but according to the guys at Motor Trend, the model in question should get a turbocharged engine under its hood, once it will be officially unveiled.
The new Ferrari California generation is said to get a twin turbocharged V8 engine under its hood, which will be shared with the new Maserati Quattroporte generation, but unlike the four-door vehicle, the Italian cruiser will displace less than 4.0 liters, possible 3.8 liters. The unit in question is producing a total output of 523 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque in the Quattroporte, which is quite more than the current 483 HP and 372 lb-ft of torque, in the California. Additional details on the new generation of the Ferrari California are limited for the moment and will be announced in Geneva, next year.
