The new generation of the Ford Galaxy has been spotted once again on European soil, where the company is currently testing it.
After being officially introduced back in 1995, the Ford Galaxy has now arrived at its fourth generation. The popular MPV has been spied testing on the Old Continent and in the images posted below you can clearly see its disguised front fascia. The new generation of the Ford Galaxy is expected to be officially unveiled in early 2014 so the probability of this test mule being a facelift is quite small.
The 2015 Ford Galaxy will keep its front engine and front-wheel drive setup, but a variety of EcoBoost and diesel engines will be added under its hood, so expect units like the 1.6 liter EcoBoost, 2.0 liter EcoBoost, 1.5 liter diesel and 2.0 liter diesel. The model is also expected to receive a hybrid powertrain, just like the Mondeo. This will be possible thanks to the use of a new platform.
The cabin of the fourth generation Ford Galaxy will receive improved quality of materials, the 8-inch touch screen SYNC system, voice control, a seven-seat layout and much more. Additional details on the 2015 Ford Galaxy are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch. Meanwhile you can check out the spy photos posted below.
