The North American based automaker Ford is planning to present the next generation of the Mustang at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The next generation of the Ford Mustang is expected to be officially presented to the public at the 2014 New York Auto Show. Even if there is no word on this subject from the car company just yet, the guys at insideline.com are saying that the future muscle car is already under development and, just like initial rumors were saying, the model will be based on the Ford Evos Concept , which was officially presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show last autumn.
Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the next generation of the Ford Mustang for the moment but as a small reminder, the Evos Concept, on which the future muscle car will be based, is powered by a plug-in hybrid power train, made out of a 2.0 liter petrol engine and an electric motor, which is offering a total range of up to 500 miles. The production version of the 2015 Ford Mustang is expected to pack a V8 engine, but a smaller V6 is also in the books, which will allow the muscle car to become more fuel efficient.
