The North American based automaker Ford is planning to develop the next generation of the Mustang by using the Evos concept.
Even if there is no official word on this from the car manufacturer just yet, The Wall Street Journal is saying that the next generation of the Ford Mustang might be developed using the spectacular Evos concept car, which was officially presented to the public last year in September, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The guys at The Wall Street Journal are saying that the future generation of the American muscle car will hit the market in 2014 as a 2015 model, but that’s just about all the data we have on this for now.
As a small reminder, the Ford Evos Concept has the company’s grille mounted in a high position, slim front headlights with LEDs, a small air intake and gullwing doors. Power to the Ford Evos Concept is coming from a plug-in hybrid powertrain which is using a 2.0 liter petrol engine and an electric motor, allowing the model to have a total range of up to 500 miles. The Ford Evos Concept is 4.5 meters long and 1.97 meters wide, being almost as low as the Audi TT with 1.36 meters.
