The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on the new S-Class generation and the luxurious model will be unveiled this year.
The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is probably one of the most expected vehicles in its segment and not just because it’s the most luxurious model signed by the company but mainly thanks to its innovative technologies which will eventually make their way onto other future smaller vehicles. The new generation of the S-Class, which will be known as the W222, will get five models in three different body styles in its lineup.
Rumors are saying that the sedan will be offered in three different lengths and, besides this, a coupe version, along with a convertible, will also make their way onto the market. The three sedans are expected to adopt the same styling and they should be unveiled this year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. The longest version, which will have 5,700 mm in length, the S-Class Pullman, will replace the Maybach 57, and this is expected to be unveiled in Beijing, in 2014. The Coupe is rumored to make its public debut in 2014 as well, but during the Geneva Motor Show, while six months later we will meet the convertible as well.
