The next generation of the Skoda Fabia is believed to be officially unveiled this October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Skoda is working on a new generation of the Fabia, after updating its entire lineup over the past couple of years, and the model in question is rumored to be making its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October. The new generation of the Skoda Fabia is said to get the same underpinnings as the current model, rather than using the popular MQB platform, and this might be a setback for the company’s fans which might turn their heads towards models like the Polo.
The 2015 Skoda Fabia will get a significant design upgrade and the styling tweaks are said to be similar to the ones in the new Octavia model. As far as the engine lineup goes, new units, with three and four cylinders, along with the 1.2 liter four-cylinder turbo, will make their way onto the model. The upcoming Fabia will not get an RS hot hatch replacement and the wagon version will be discontinued too. The carmaker will however focus on the Monte Carlo models. Details on the new Fabia generation will be announced during the French automotive event.
