Next-gen Volkswagen Touran caught on camera image

The future generation of the Volkswagen Touran has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested out.

Volkswagen is currently working on a new generation of the Touran which is believed to be introduced sometimes next year. The model in question will be based on the modular MQB platform, like all models driving from the current generation of the Golf, as this should put some space between it and its previous version, which used to be based on the same platform as the Golf Mk5. The brand new Volkswagen Touran will come with a new look, highlighted by the bumper and headlights.

The MPV will also come with all the modern systems including the Easy Fold System for all the seats and it will also be equipped with Blue Motion. We are not sure at this time what engines will be found under its hood, but rumor has it that they will be including the 1.2 liter TSI petrol and the 2.0 liter TDI diesel burner. The gasoline is coming with 105 HP and the diesel is more powerful, standing in at 150 HP. More details on the next generation of the Volkswagen Touran are limited at this time.
