The new generation of the Volkswagen Touran has been recently rendered and the image posted above might provide us with a first look into what the model may look like once it will be launched.
With the brand new VW Golf 7 making its way onto the market several months ago, the German based automaker is getting ready to take a next step into the development of the model and to test a new generation of the Touran, which will be based on the popular hatchback. The MPV will receive a new front fascia, a new rear end, some changes in the cabin and new technologies.
Additional details on the future Volkswagen Touran generation are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following months. The final production version of the model might be unveiled in Frankfurt, on the 10th of September, but no details on the subject have been announced yet. As a quick reminder, the outgoing version of the model is currently being assembled in Germany, in Indonesia and in China and it’s coming in a single 5-door MPV body style. The model is 4,405 mm ling, 1,795 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, riding on a 2,680 mm ling wheelbase.
