A new generation of the Volkswagen Touran has been recently caught on camera, by our spy photographers, while it was being tested.
A new model deriving from the current seventh generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the Touran, is getting ready to hit the market, but before it will, the company has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should. The model in question will replace the current Touran, which is based on the Golf Mk5, and it will get a new look, with the new headlights, bumper, hood and a more pronounced rear end.
The 2015 Volkswagen Touran will be riding on the MQB platform, just like the new Golf and several other models, and it will be equipped, for the first time ever, with the Blue Motion technology. The MPV will also get the Easy Fold System for all seats and it will come with a wider engine range, which will include just about anything from the 1.2 liter TSI petrol to the 2.0 liter TDI diesel. The 2015 Volkswagen Touran is expected to be unveiled by the end of this year, probably during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
