The 2013 Audi A4 and S4, along with the 2013 Buick Verano, have recently earned high marks from the NHTSA during the latest crash evaluations.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2013 Audi A4 and Audi S4 sedans get standard front, side and curtain airbags, along with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, reinforced bumpers and crossmembers and more. Thanks to these innovations, the two sedans have managed to earn a five-star rating after being crash tested by the NHTSA. The rating was achieved in NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) in overall, front, side and rollover tests.
Besides the Audi A4 and S4 sedans, the 2013 Buick Verano was also tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the model has received a top rating in each category, except for the rollover test, where the model was awarded with four stars. The 2013 Buick Verano is coming with 10 standard airbags, including curtain airbags which deploy during a rollover and sixty percent of the model’s structure is comprised of high-strength steel. The 2103 Buick Verano was also named a 2012 Top Safety Pick by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety).
